Last seen at Colcci's fashion show in Rio de Janiero, Wicked Banker is proud to welcome Paris Hilton into the studios today. (Fashion show video available here.)
Wicked Banker: Hey, Paris. How are you?
Paris Hilton: Hi Wicked. I'm good thanks, very good to be here.
WB: Cool. So, what have you been up to in Singapore?
PH: Well, its so hot here, so I've been reduced to wearing even less than normal, and spending a lot of time at the pool.
WB: Er, yes, I can see that. Anyways enjoy your stay. Happy you could stop by for the opening festivities for Wicked Banker. I saw your interview on Saturday Night Live, and thought it was just great.
PH: You downloaded my video off the internet, didn't you.
WB: Oh, yes! Dear God, yes.
PH: ...
WB: Anyways, moving swiftly onwards... Lets get started shall we.

PH: So, can you tell us a little about yourself?
WB: I'm keeping the blog anonymous, but I can tell you that I grew up in the Northeast U.S. in upper middle class suburbia. Then I went to an Ivy League unversity in the Northeast U.S. and continued to refine my patrician habits. Ha, ha. After university I moved to New York City and started working as a derivatives trader at a major investment bank, which I'll refer to from now on as BulgeBank. I worked in New York at BulgeBank for a couple of years, and was then transferred out to Singapore.
PH: So, are you truly wicked?
WB: Depends what sense you mean? Bad, mischievous, cool. Maybe a bit of each. Of course, apologies to the Bard, but there is something to a name. Do you remember Richard Cohen's comments about your name?
My joke about Paris Hilton is that none of this would have happened if she had been named Washington Marriott. Then she would have been the child of Mormons and raised quite differently with, one would hope, better results. We would now be watching an Internet tape of her doing missionary work in the Third World instead of assuming that position for much of the First World to see.
PH: Ha ha, good point. Cool. What does that Japanese symbol on your web page mean?
WB: That symbol is chikara. Its the Japanese kanji symbol for power. I saw it all the time when visiting Tokyo, and just really liked the shape of it.
PH: What's your favorite alcohol? Say for liquor, beer, and wine.
WB: Stoli vodka, Asahi beer, and Chateau Ausone wine.
PH: Favorite movie?
WB: Well, besides anything starring you?
PH: YES.
WB: Dead Poets Society for a modern film, All About Eve for a classic film, and School of Rock for a film this year.
PH: Where have you been partying recently?
WB: I was in Thailand earlier this month with some friends during the Bangkok International Film Festival. It was a blast. Bangkok is an amazing city, with such friendly interesting people. We had a great time. There were loads of parties, and I stayed in a fabulous Penthouse Suite at the Metropolitan Hotel Bangkok, which was just sensational. I had my own butler, which was definitely a new experience to me, although of course standard for you.

PH: Thanks Wicked-B.
WB: Thanks Paris, appreciate it. Where are you off to next?
PH: I'm flying out to Lala land tomorrow. Taking the new Singapore Airlines SQ 20 non-stop from Singapore to Los Angeles. So keep your beers cool, and your women hot. I'll see you later.
That Metropolitan Bangkok is the best hotel in Bangkok. The service is so good, and I love the design themes.
How was the Penthouse Suite?
Did you check out the Met Bar?

The Penthouse Suite was amazing. It was huge... a few thousand square feet... first floor was the living room (including LCD TV and Bose stereo), kitchen, dining room area -- and triple height ceiling. 1.5 floor was the guest bathroom, second floor was the bedroom (another TV and Bose stereo), study (complete with iMac), master bathroom, second living area, and walk-in closet.
AMAZING! Khun Keng my butler was very helpful in arranging parties/restaurants for me and my friends
